Once your Link has been created, you can personalize its options to your needs. You can do so by clicking on the different option menus inside any of your Links. Usual menus for any given Links - Details, Sources, Widget and Jobs

Details

In the Details options, you will see information about the Link in general. Although most of the fields are read-only, you will have the option to edit both the name of the Link and its description. General information about your Link

Sources

The Sources options give you the opportunity to add or remove individual sources, or specify which source types you want displayed in the Widget. Adding or removing sources
  • The “Add Existing” button allows you to add one of the 7000+ sources we already support to your Link.
  • The “Create New” button lets you add a new source from scratch in the case it is not already in our database.
  • The “Add Source Type” button gives categories of sources. Selecting one or many categories will display all sources for that(those) category(ies).
It is important to note that the Widget will only display the first 15 sources at this time. This is to optimize speed. However, searching for a source using the search bar directly in the Widget will display the sources you want if they are in the list to begin with.

Widget

The Widget options let you dictate how your Widget will be displayed to your users.

Widget Settings

  • Application name: The name that will be displayed to represent yourself in the sentence “Name uses Deck to connect to your account.”
  • Language: The language in which you want the Widget to be displayed to your users.
  • Supported countries: Sources displayed will be limited to those operating in these countries. Don’t select anything to display all sources.

Organization Settings

  • Privacy Policy URL: Allows you to display a link to your privacy policy in the Widget.
  • Terms of Use URL: Allows you to display a link to your terms of use in the Widget.
  • Organization Logo: Displays a custom logo to represent yourself on the Widget.

Jobs

Anything under the JOBS section is a Job that can be called on any of the sources selected. You will see the code, output schemas and webhook configuration for each.
The EnsureConnection Job will also offer the option to try out the Widget (Demo Widget button) to see if it will display the way you intend.
